Hey all, its been a little while, how have you been? These are a few glasses I have purchased in the last couple of weeks.
I went to the eye doctor and now I need glasses for distance. Here are two that I purchased on Giant Vintage. I am not sure which look I am going for but tell me what you think. I will post pics of me wearing these frames once I get my prescription put in them. **All pics were taken with my phone when I thought I lost my camera, sorry for the quality**
Yes, they are over sized, but thats what I like about them. At first I thought I hated them but they are now growing on me. I love the old man feel to them.
I purchased these because I had tried on a friends that were similar and had received a few compliments. They are still growing on me, I’m still considering if I will get my prescription filled on these.
Lastly, these sunglasses were purchased when I went to the “Girl’s Night Out” event.
They have a retro feel to them. They are tortious shell brown with gold trim around the lens. Do you like?
I hope all is well, I will be back later this week with at least one more post. Toodles
Sorry I am a little late posting, I thought I had lost my camera, I was devistated but I found it and all is well. 🙂 But anyway, Last Thursday, me and a few of my friends went to “Girls Night Out”, a social event for women to mingle and shop in local stores and boutiques. Some for the stores were offering up to 25% off your entire purchase, others were giving away prizes and gift bags, but one thing they all had in common was free food and drinks, this was to keep the customers in the store. I have attempted to put myself on a budget so I only purchased one item, a pair of sunglasses, even though I told myself I was not buying anything. But they were are great buy! I will post pics of my new sunnies later.
I decided to dress comfy because I would be walking around and I was advised not to dress up. LOL.
This boutique had really great clothes, great styles and a variety of spring and summer colors.
One of my male friends met up with us quickly since he was in the area. I like what he had on so I asked him if I can feature him here on my blog here goes.

Last Saturday, April 28th, First Lady Michelle Obama wore an altered off the runway Naeem Khan ball gown. The paisley organza multi-colored gown looked amazing on First Lady and complemented her complexion perfectly.
This is the original Naeem Khan’s Fall/Winter 2011 collection gown.
I think the gown looked much better on First Lady and her version of the dress is better as well.
First lady here with Jimmy Kimmel.
First Lady is a beauty.
Thanks for reading, enjoy your day. 🙂
I am going to try something new, I will begin posting “The Look of Last Week”, where I will review fashion looks from the previous week. I hope that it will keep me posting more consistently and I hope that you all enjoy.
Most of you don’t know that I am a huge fan of Solange. I think her style is impeccable. Her look is very feminine, and she encompasses all styles: Classic, Vintage, Modern and Edgy. She able to keep her look together and still be a fabulous mommy.
Last Thursday, May 26th, Solange attend the 6th Annual DKMS Linked Against Blood Cancer Gala at Cipriani in NYC. She donned an ivory Stéphane Rolland Spring 2012 gown. She looked amazing. The peplum inspired gown had a long train with a gold plate at the center of the waste.
With minimal amount of makeup she pulled this look together with her hair pulled back in to a sleek bun. I think she kept her makeup pretty simple to not take away from the dress, but I think she could have used a little blush and eyeliner, just my thoughts.
Solange with Ashanti. One of Ashanti’s better looks lately, but I cant say I truthfully like the fade to red hair.
Solange with Heidi Klum and Katharina Harf. Heidi looked nice, as usual, in a pale blue Temperley London Spring 2012 center split gown.
Hope you enjoyed this post, talk to you later.
